Production Operative / FLT Driver

Shift Pattern: Rotating weekly shifts
• 06:00 – 14:30
• 08:00 – 16:30
(Monday to Friday, with a 30-minute break)

Our client a large manufacturing company based in Speke, Liverpool is looking to recruit a Production Operative / Forklift Truck (FLT) Driver to support its production operation.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong eye for detail, a proactive attitude, and experience in a fast-paced production or warehouse environment.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Complete production schedules efficiently and in line with company KPIs
  • Operate a counterbalance forklift truck to safely load/unload vehicles and store goods
  • Accurately pick customer orders and support warehouse dispatch
  • Adhere to all company procedures, safety policies, and PPE requirements
  • Always maintain a safe working environment
  • Complete required reports and documentation accurately and on time
  • Support the Production/Warehouse Controller in daily operations
  • Follow all quality and safety standards within the Integrated Management System
  • Carry out additional duties as requested by your line manager
Skills & Experience Required:
  • Current and valid counterbalance FLT licence (minimum 2 years' experience)
  • Experience in a production or warehouse setting (chemical industry experience is an advantage)
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow processes accurately
  • Effective communication and organisation skills
  • Ability to manage workload under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong understanding of Health & Safety procedures and safe working practices
