PRODUCTION OPERATIVE - STITCHING

CAMBRIDGESHIRE

£Open (Depending on Experience) + Overtime is paid at time and a half (Double time for bank holidays) + 25 Days Holiday, inclusive of Xmas shutdown (usually around 3days)

HOURS OF WORK: 34 hours per week: Friday (5hrs), Saturday (12hrs), Sunday (12hrs), Monday (5hrs) in accordance with business needs

Our client is a wide format print service provider specialising in larger projects and dye sublimated textiles. They print onto almost any substrate including rigid medias. Combined with a full project management team their turnkey approach makes us one of the leaders in their field.
They are looking for a production operative in their busy Stitching department are working with many different types of textiles to time critical deadlines.

Responsibilities / Requirements:

  • Accurately cutting textiles to plan.
  • To feed garments or textile sections through the machines.
  • To change machine settings for different jobs.
  • Sewing textile printing of different sizes and substrates.
  • Other general duties as required by management.
  • Good attention to detail and a high level of accuracy are required.
  • High level of organisation is vital.
  • Must be a good team player with great communication skills.
  • Flexible approach and ability to do overtime where required.
  • Excellent time keeping.
  • The successful candidate will be an experienced and competent machinist working within an industrial environment.
