Overview

As our new Production Operative at our Settle Dairy you will play an integral part in the production of our Lacto-Free products. You will monitor the running of production lines and work a rotating continental 12-hour shift pattern covering both days and nights. The shift pattern is over 4 weeks and includes 8 consecutive days off.

Responsibilities
  • Run production lines safely and efficiently to produce top quality products
  • Perform quality inspections on materials and finished product
  • Quality checks to include codes, sealing and weights
  • Fill trays, glue and cap operations as required
  • Report safety issues to maintain proper safety conditions of equipment and surroundings
  • Perform specified cleaning tasks as per daily/monthly schedules
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a similar environment would be beneficial but not essential
  • Previous experience with food safety regulations and practices would be beneficial but not essential
  • All training and support provided during induction
  • A motivated team player who can work on own initiative
  • A commitment to quality and willingness to work hard to achieve it
  • A good attendance record and willingness to learn further skills
