A family-run business in the UK is seeking 2 Food Production Operatives for immediate start. The role involves repackaging food products and operating machinery. Candidates should be reliable and able to lift 25kg. The position offers a starting pay of £12.24 per hour with possible long-term employment. Shifts are 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm, with PPE provided.

Job description

Food Production Operatives X2 IMMEDIATELY required to start asap ongoing work

6am - 2pm and 2pm -10pm rotating shifts.

Immediate start, PPE provided, Guaranteed 40 hour working week

  • Starting rate of pay 12.24 per hour + weekly attendance bonus paid.

If you are a reliable, motivated hardworking individual who is not afraid of physical work then you are perfect for this role.

We are looking for 2 x Food Production Operatives to start immediately.

For this role you will be repackaging dried herbs lentils flour and spices into 25Kg packaging to be supplied to food manufacturing companies.

The Production operatives will be required to

  • Operating various types of food production machinery
  • Be able to lift weights of up to 25kg
  • Palletising the bagged product
  • End of line packing - both small and large items
  • Sieving, Roasting, Milling and blending using various types of machinery.
  • Manual handling
  • Deep cleaning as part of the manufacturing process.
  • Completion of required paperwork to ensure consistency within the supply chain

To be considered for this role, we are interested to speak to people who have the following

  • Ideally will have worked with food and has an understanding of food safety standards ( not essential)
  • Have an understanding of production processes
  • Has a good understanding of English both verbal and written as completion of paperwork is an important part of this role.
