We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Production Operative / Relief Spiral Operator to join our day shift team at our Trafford Park site in Manchester. If you’re a team player who values quality and safety, this could be the opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work alongside your team leader (or designated person) to complete pre-use inspections and necessary documentation for all production and warehouse equipment.
• Operate sheet metal working machinery safely and efficiently to achieve production targets while maintaining high quality standards.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) at all times.
• Ensure products meet consistent quality standards and report any defects promptly.
• Always use machinery safety guards, warehouse barriers, and adhere to all Health & Safety policies and procedures.
• Complete production and warehouse documentation accurately and on time.
• Produce high-quality spirally wound tube using our Spiral Forming machine, ensuring tight lockseams, safe handling, and compliance with specifications.
• To be confident and flexible working on a rotation with the machines on the shop floor

Qualifications and Experience:

• Previous experience working in engineering, operating machinery, if not manufacturing
• Experience workingto targets

Preferred Skills:

• Previous experience on Counterbalance forklift machine
