Job summary

Seras UK is seeking a hardworking Production Operative for our Raw Materials team at Tilbury. You will assist in processing inbound and outbound materials, operate plant equipment, and help keep the site running safely and efficiently.

This is a permanent, full-time role with a 48-hour week, Monday to Friday days, and a strong focus on health, safety and teamwork. You will work outdoors and report daily to the Site Operations department.

Qualifications

• Health, safety and environmental standards commitment.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work in an operational outdoor environment.
• Experience operating mobile plant (Loading Shovel, Telehandler or similar).
• Previous experience in waste, recycling, manufacturing, aggregates or industrial operations.
• Experience working to production targets and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supporting daily production activities and material movements across site.
• Operating mobile and static plant equipment.
• Inspecting incoming wood loads and identifying contamination.
• Loading containers and vehicles with finished product.
• Carrying out pre-start checks and reporting defects; assisting with routine maintenance and housekeeping.
• Recording operational data and completing required documentation.
• Following all health, safety, environmental, and operational procedures.
• Supporting colleagues and wider site operations when required.
