Job summary

Pilgrim's Europe is seeking Production Operatives for our Bromborough site in Wirral. The role involves packing raw materials, ensuring quality standards are met, and maintaining GMP and health & safety practices on site.

You will work in a fast-paced production area with training provided. The position offers a structured shift pattern and opportunities for progression within the company.

Qualifications

Experience in food production is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow GMP and health & safety standards.
Willingness to work a shift pattern including 5 out of 6 days.

Responsibilities

Packing raw materials according to specifications and stacking on pallets.
Ensuring material meets quality specifications before packing.
Maintaining product safety, legality and authenticity in line with site standards.
Reporting faults promptly to minimise downtime.
Maintaining factory cleanliness and encouraging others to do the same.
Managing waste and yield in line with online schematics.

We have exciting opportunities for Production Operatives to join Our Team at Bromborough site!

Shift Pattern

5 out of 6 days
07:00am to 15:30pm
Voluntary overtime at premium pay rate

Successful candidates will work in fast‑paced production areas, ensuring all products are processed and packed efficiently to meet customer specifications while maintaining strict Food Hygiene and Health & Safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Packing the raw material according to the specifications, pack the product into baskets, OCM baskets and stack onto pallet and changing the specifications at change overs
Having a high understanding of quality, ensuring that the raw material is within the specifications before packing
Ensures the sites intentions to produce safe, legal and authentic products are maintained
Report faults, so they can be put right quickly, to keep downtime to a minimum
Maintaining factory cleaning standards and encouraging others to do the same
Keeping waste to a minimum, by managing the yield as shown online schematics
Always follow GMP
