Job summary

Manpower Group (UK) is recruiting for a Production Operative in Stoney Stanton. The role offers 16:00–01:00, Monday–Friday, with a 30-minute unpaid break and on-site parking, plus PPE and comprehensive training. DBS check is required and training will be provided to support safety and quality standards.

You will work as part of a team and independently as needed, following site instructions and ensuring production targets are met with care for accuracy and safety.

Qualifications

• Full driving licence is required.
• Experience in production/manufacturing or labouring is beneficial.
• Manual handling up to 47 kg.
• Working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow quality procedures.

Responsibilities

• Deliver targets set by production leadership at the start of the shift.
• Safely operate processes to meet production targets; rotate on cylinder filling, maintenance and inspection.
• Load and unload cylinder vehicles as required.
• Perform any Cylinder re-qualification activities as requested.
• Ensure client standards are adhered to during the filling process.

Earn £14.07 per hour, 42.5 hours per week, overtime rates of £21.10 + £20 shift bonus per shift

Expectations of the role

• Successful candidates will require a full driving licence.
• Experience in production, manufacture, construction, or labouring highly beneficial
• Manual handling and movement of gas cylinders up too a maximum weight of 47kgs
• Working outdoors in all weathers - resilience is key
• Physical work load
• Attention to detail and ability to follow strict control and quality procedures

Responsibilities

• Delivering targets set by production leadership at the start of the shift.
• Safely operate process to meet production targets. Rotate on Cylinder filling, maintenance and inspection activities as required by production leadership.
• Loading and unloading cylinder vehicles as required.
• Perform any Cylinder re-qualification activities as requested.
• Ensure client standards are adhered to during the filling process.
