Production Operative (Part-Time) - ManufacturingLocation: NorthamptonHours: Tuesday to Thursday, 7:30am - 3:30pm - Part-TimeSalary: Dependent on Experience (DOE)Are you a hands-on, reliable individual with a strong work ethic looking for a part-time opportunity within a modern manufacturing environment? We are seeking a Production Operative to join a growing and forward-thinking company involved in the fabrication of precision-formed building components.Working from a recently refurbished site equipped with advanced machinery, the business supports a diverse range of sectors across the UK, offering bespoke solutions to both trade and public customers.Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate roll-forming and other metal fabrication machinery in line with production schedules
  • Assist in the manufacture and assembly of bespoke sheet materials and associated products
  • Conduct quality checks on finished items to ensure compliance with specifications
  • Follow health and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment
  • Load and unload materials, keeping the production area tidy and organised
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines
  • Report any equipment faults or quality issues to the supervisor
  • Support packing and preparation of orders for dispatch
The Candidate
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is desirable
  • Comfortable working with machinery and manual processes
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
  • Able to work independently and as part of a small, friendly team
  • Requires heavy lifting
  • Reliable, punctual, and proactive in approach
  • Counterbalance licence desirable - however, training will be given.
