Job description

We are recruiting for Production Operatives on behalf of our client in Tamworth to work at a leading manufacturer producing G.R.P (Glass Reinforced Plastic) building products.

The company is well established in Tamworth and has been operating for over 40 years. They are currently experiencing growth, and as the construction industry peaks, we are hiring new Production Operatives.

All roles are initially temporary with the potential to become permanent after 12 weeks for suitable candidates.

Working Hours

Hours are: Monday - Thursday, 4.30 PM - 3 AM

Enjoy a 4-day workweek. One in four Fridays may be worked; however, if targets are met, this Friday is paid but not worked, offering a unique benefit.

Role Details

This is a physically demanding role that may involve heavy lifting.

Preferred Experience

• GRP Manufacturing
• Carpentry or Woodwork
• Experience in manufacturing or factory environments
• Working with machinery & hand tools
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
• Ability to meet targets

Initial registration with MET, followed by a site interview and walk-round with the client.
