Job summary

Prestige Recruitment Specialists is seeking reliable production workers for night-shift roles in Watton. You will be part of a busy manufacturing team, setting up and maintaining equipment, recording downtime and assisting with basic maintenance tasks.

Training will be provided to those without prior production experience. Applicants should be punctual, able to work unsupervised, and a good team player with strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Reliable, punctual, task focused and able to follow instructions.
• Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Comfortable working night shifts and at pace.
• Trained in Basic Food Hygiene or equivalent in-house training when required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain production equipment.
• Maintain changeover parts and spares when not in use.
• Carry out basic preventative maintenance tasks with area ownership.
• Record downtime and repairs on downtime sheets with maintenance team.
• Risk assess duties as required.

Working hours:
Night shifts, 10:00pm – 6:00am. Very occasional weekend working may be required.Overtime is paid at double timeafter completion of weekly contractual hours.

Working as part of a busy production team, you’ll help ensure the smooth and efficient running of the site.

Duties may include:

• Setting up and maintaining production equipment
• Maintaining changeover parts and spares when not in use
• Carrying out basic preventative maintenance tasks with area ownership
• Recording all downtime and repairs on downtime sheets, in conjunction with the maintenance team
• Risk assessing duties as required
