Job Description:

Our client is seeking new Production Operatives to join their team on a full-time permanent basis in Sleaford. This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced individuals who are reliable, hardworking, enthusiastic, proactive, and team-oriented. The company specializes in nutrition across multiple sectors, developing, manufacturing, and supplying high-performance products.

The position offers a salary of £30,041, including a non-contractual shift allowance of 11.5%, along with a full benefits package to be discussed at interview. Due to growth, these positions are available, and retention rates are high, reflecting the company's stability and reputation.

Responsibilities:
  1. Assist the Production Supervisor in achieving production targets.
  2. Manage production processes, including packaging and labeling.
  3. Warehousing of finished goods.
  4. Ensure all orders are completed to a high quality, on time, and in full.
  5. Oversee operational performance of process plants, packing, palletizing, and warehousing, ensuring compliance with procedures and instructions.
  6. Maintain cleanliness of process and collection plants, ensuring safety and performance.
  7. Uphold high personal hygiene standards and encourage staff to do the same.
  8. Accurately fill and pack products to specified weights, ensuring quality and proper documentation.
  9. Check packaged products for quality, complete paperwork, and notify supervisors of any issues.
  10. Operate plant and machinery safely, report breakdowns, and assist with repairs.
  11. Manage stock and ensure proper storage.
  12. Contribute to maintaining quality standards and comply with health and safety regulations.
  13. Perform other duties as required, including outside normal working hours.
Shift Patterns:
  • 06:00 – 14:00
  • 14:00 – 22:00
  • 22:00 – 06:00
Candidate Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or dispatch environment preferred.
  • Minimum GCSE level in English and Maths.
  • Valid forklift license and experience as a forklift driver.
