Job summary

Gap Personnel Limited is recruiting for Production Operatives in Milton Keynes (MK15). You will work on the mat production line in the Pressers department, performing cutting, pressing, machine operation, packing, and stock movement.

You may also assist across Printing & Prep, Finishing, and Despatch. The role involves heavy lifting and exposure to a hot environment, with full training provided if needed.

Qualifications

• Previous production experience is desirable, but full training will be provided.
• Ability to work full-time on a fixed shift pattern
• Ability to perform heavy lifting
• Comfortable working in a hot environment
• You must provide your own safety shoes and a high-visibility vest; all other PPE will be provided on-site.

Responsibilities

• Operate the mat production line in the Pressers department, including cutting and pressing.
• Machine operating and packing finished products.
• Move stock and materials around the production area.
• You may work across Printing & Prep, Finishing and Despatch as needed.

Job description

We are currently recruiting Production Operatives for our well-established client based in Milton Keynes, MK15. Our client is a leading mat manufacturer with locations across the UK, USA, and Belgium.

About the role:

You will be working on the mat production line in the Pressers department, carrying out a variety of manufacturing tasks, including:

• Cutting and pressing
• Machine operating
• Packing finished products
• Moving stock and materials

You may also work across several other departments, including Printing & Prep, Finishing, and Despatch. Please be aware that this role involves heavy lifting and working in a hot environment.

Shifts:

Monday to Friday - Fixed shifts

• PM shift: 2:00pm-10:00pm at £16.52 per hour
• Hours: 37.5 hours per week (30-minute unpaid break per day)
