We are currently looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Milton team in the position of Production Operative.

The position involves overseeing the production of concrete building blocks for both commercial and domestic markets, ensuring safe and efficient operation of all plant and equipment.

You will be trained in various production processes, including concrete batching, manufacturing and packaging of blocks, and operating mobile plant.

Your duties include but are not limited to:
  • Maintaining high standards of health and safety for yourself and others.
  • Adhering to all health and safety standards and reporting concerns.
  • Ensuring risk assessments and safe systems of work are followed.
  • Maintaining PPE and tools in good condition and reporting defects.
  • Fitting guards correctly and reporting defective equipment.
  • Obtaining permits for high-risk tasks.
Quality Systems Responsibilities:
  • Completing process control sheets and reporting quality concerns.
  • Adhering to quality requirements as per site standards.
  • Contributing to a sustainable culture at work.
About You:
  • Good communication skills.
  • Organized and able to maintain a clean, safe environment.
  • Willing to be trained in operating manufacturing machinery.
  • Awareness of health and safety legislation.
