Production Operative / Manufacturing Operator who is a team player with an excellent work ethic and who has a high attention to detail is required for a well-established company based in Trafford, Manchester, North West England.

SALARY: £31,295 per annum (Basic Pay £26,457 + £4,838 shift premium per annum) + Benefits

LOCATION: Trafford, Manchester, North West England (M17) – 100% Site Based

JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent

WORKING HOURS: Rotating Shift Pattern 2 Weeks Night and 2 Weeks Days

• AM SHIFT: 06:00 – 18:00
• PM SHIFT: 18:00 – 06:00

JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Production Operative / Manufacturing Operator who is a team player with an excellent work ethic and who has a high attention to detail.

Working as the Production Operative / Manufacturing Operator you will ensure the safe, effective and efficient operation of the production lines whilst working within the company’s quality procedures.

This role is fast paced and requires a diligent person prepared to take responsibility for the product that they are packing.

As a successful candidate you will have a great opportunity to gain some fantastic experience, really build your development and ultimately grow your career. Full Training will be Provided.

DUTIES

Your duties as a Production Operative / Manufacturing Operator will include:

• Comply with all Health & Safety policies and procedures ensuring that the work environment is safe at all times. Any issues to be escalated

• Comply with all Food Safety and quality policies and procedures, by taking responsibility for the safety, legality and quality of products manufactured. Any issues to be escalated

• Ensure hygiene / GMP are maintained in line BRC standards (clean as you go)

• To run the production lines in the most efficient manner in order to hit the daily production plan. Any faults/downtimes to be communicated to a line technician/engineer

• Attend team briefs

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

As the Production Operative / Manufacturing Operator you will have the following skills, experience and attributes:

• Organised and structured in managing priorities

• Excellent attention to detail

• Competent in completing paperwork

• Rigorous with Health & Safety and Food Safety

• Flexible and be able to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to make the right decisions and effectively escalate issues as they arise

• Shift experience and good communication skills would be beneficial

• Experience in manufacturing and machinery would be ideal
