Job description

Position: PRODUCTION OPERATIVE / LABOURER

Location: Witney

Salary: 12.75 per hour

Planet Recruitment has a new opportunity for a Production Operative based in Witney. The role involves manufacturing prestressed concrete flooring products, including activities such as emptying, cleaning, setting, and filling steel moulds. It is a manual, labour-intensive role mainly outdoors in various weather conditions.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, ranging from 40 to 45 hours per week. The options are:

• 40-hour week: 7am to 4pm
• 45-hour week: 6am to 4pm or 7am to 5pm

Own transport is recommended due to the location.

Main responsibilities:

• Manual handling and lifting
• Knocking out dividing rubber formers
• Manually turning finished beams
• Measuring and setting beds accurately
• Placing concrete from truck mixer to moulds
• Vibrating and finishing concrete
• Covering beds with insulated covers
• Cutting finished products
• Operating forklift counterbalance truck
• Cleaning beds, tools, formers, and yard areas

Experience and qualifications:

• Hardworking and physically fit
• Comfortable lifting heavy items daily
• Own transport

Commute areas include:

Witney, Carterton, Ducklington, Clanfield, Oxford, Woodstock, Kidlington
