Job description

Job Title: Production Operatives at Muller Severnside

We are currently recruiting for Production Operatives within the Bagging, Drying, Intake, and Flavoured Milk departments at Muller Severnside.

Contract: Full Time / Permanent

Salary: £32,823.98 Per Annum

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off, 2 days, 2 nights (6-6)

Location: Severnside - Stroud

Responsibilities:

• Follow all relevant legal compliance, and company policies and procedures.
• Take responsibility for performance compliance.
• Demonstrate and promote the company values and principles.
• Undertake training and development to support succession planning and team development.
• Identify, implement, and sustain cost-saving initiatives.
• Contribute to waste reduction efforts.
• Maintain dairy plant and equipment, reporting issues to the Team Leader.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
• Follow quality system controls to maintain product integrity.
• Prioritize health and safety by addressing hazards and unsafe practices.
• Support health, safety, and environmental practices and initiatives.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and EMS practices.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives as per the Site Annual Operating Plan.
• Accurately record and manage relevant data.
• Understand and be accountable for performance measures.
• Manage time effectively due to the time-sensitive nature of operations.
• Adapt to change and demonstrate initiative.
• Report on plant and equipment reliability.
• Work across various roles from chill to ambient environments.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Experience in a temperature-controlled environment preferred.
