Acorn by Synergie are currently recruiting for Production Operatives for their client based in Knowsley, L34, who provides quality beef and vegetarian substitutes to thousands of customers across the world.

The company offers excellent working conditions and genuine opportunities for permanent contracts and progression.

Shifts available currently are Monday to Friday

5am - 1pm & 1pm - 9pm, although some flexibility is needed on these hours to on occasion cover holidays and sickness.

Rate of pay :

11.75 - £12.45 per hour dependant on hours worked

These rates will increase to £12.41 - £13.11 from the first of April

Overtime after 40 hours worked each week is paid at enhanced rates

All breaks are paid

Duties will include :

• Mixing, weighing, and blending of raw materials
• Ensure documentation is completed
• Keeping lines supplied with the raw materials they need to operate
• Manual handling weights up to 25 kilos
• Following SOPs regarding the correct storage of ingredients
• Assist in production when required
• Assist in hitting daily targets and KPIs
• Raise any training issues with HR or the training manager
• Maintain a clean as you go area and demonstrate GMP
• Focus on attention to detail and maintaining high standards
• Support the need for change and actively get involved in continually looking for ways to improve performance

Due to some shift start and finish times, candidates must live local to the site or have their own transport.

Previous experience of working in the food industry would be an advantage.
