Job summary

Dovecote Park Ltd is seeking a Production Operative (High Care) at our Pontefract area site. The role offers a 6:00am–3:00pm shift, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a pay rate of £13.10 per hour and a permanent contract.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the controlled processing, cooking and packing of raw meat.
• Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining quality, legislation requirement and speed.
• Achieve daily output schedule for production.
• Work in a way which minimizes or eliminates food safety risks such as cross contamination.
• Ensure that all cooking and legislative procedures are strictly adhered to.
• Put and store waste in designated places.
• Ensure finished product is separated from raw materials to prevent cross contamination or any other hazards to food safety.

• Ensure correct traceability labelling of product.
• Ensure familiarization with different types of metal detectors and procedure
