Impression Recruitment in Harrogate is seeking a Production Operative / Forklift Driver to join a market leading, multi-award winning brand. The role offers stability with a fixed rotating shift pattern including days and nights and a salary of £32,500 - £33,500 per annum.

You will work in a fast-paced factory, operating various machinery, supporting maintenance, and ensuring safety and quality throughout the production process.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar environment.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot machinery and equipment.
• Fork Lift Licence (highly preferable).
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment with great attention to detail.
• Health and Safety conscious.
• Great communication skills.
• Team player mentality.

Responsibilities

• Operate various machinery to maintain production and hit targets.
• Assist with routine maintenance to prevent breakdowns.
• Follow SOPs and safety protocols to ensure a safe workplace.
• Monitor product quality during production and adjust as needed.
• Conduct equipment inspections and report issues or malfunctions.
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
• Complete safe and efficient changeovers of machinery.
• Help meet production deadlines and targets.
• Comply with Health and Safety requirements.

Your Duties As Production Operative / Forklift Driver

• Operate various machinery to ensure production is maintained whilst ensuring key targets are achieved.
• Help to perform routine maintenance on machinery to limit and prevent breakdowns.
• Follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols to foster a safe working environment.
• Monitor quality of products during the production process, making adjustments as necessary.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment, reporting any issues or malfunctions.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation surrounding production.
• Complete change over of machinery in a safe and efficient manner.
• Help to meet production deadlines and targets.
• Work in line with all Health and Safety requirements.
