Job summary

Meridian Business Support Ltd is recruiting for production operations and forklift driving roles on a 12-hour shift pattern (6:00-18:00 / 18:00-06:00) with 4 nights on/4 days off. Roles involve running automated bag filling and briquette lines, plus safety checks and on-site canteen facilities.

On-site parking available; safety boots and high-visibility clothing provided. Overtime rates apply beyond standard hours and Sundays, with OT rates specified by site policy.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate automated bag filling lines and conveyors.
• Able to set production lines to run efficiently and meet KPI targets.
• Experience with forklift trucks (FLT) and vehicle safety checks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Run automated bag filling machines with conveyors and robotic stacking.
• Operate briquette lines with heat tunnel wrapping and robotic stacking.
• Set production lines for efficient operation and safety.
• Carry out forklift checks and maintain cab hygiene as required.

Job description

Our client is currently looking for Production Ops/Drivers operate an automated bag filling line, briquette lines, production press/line, ensuring that customers are supplied within agreed delivery times and production is working safely as the lowest cost producer, with the highest quality output and that objectives and KPI's are met.

• Running automated bag filling machines with automated conveying and robotic bag stacking
• Running briquette lines with automated conveying, heat tunnel wrapping and robotic stacking
• Setting production lines to operate efficiently
• Operate a FLT and completing vehicle safety checks at the beginning and end of each shift and sanitising the cab regularly throughout the shift - If licence is already in Place

4 on 4 off Nights and Days

12 hour shifts

6 till 6

Canteen on site/Car Parking - some driving work may be required

£14.02 per hour

OT £21.03 after 40.25 hours

OT £28.04 for Sundays
