Job description

Contract Personnel are currently recruiting for Production Operatives based in the North Norfolk area. Own transport is essential due to the site location.

We are looking for reliable and hardworking Production Operatives to join our team in producing and packing high-quality desserts. The role involves working in a food manufacturing environment where hygiene, attention to detail, and efficiency are essential. You will play a key part in ensuring our desserts are prepared, packaged, and ready for distribution to customers.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Packing desserts and puddings into various boxes or sleeves and putting through metal detectors or assembly of desserts by hand
Packing: Weighing, labeling, and packing finished products accurately and efficiently.
Quality Control: Monitoring product quality, reporting any defects or inconsistencies to team leaders.
Hygiene & Safety: Maintaining a clean and safe workstation, following strict food hygiene and safety procedures at all times.
Teamwork: Working closely with team members to meet daily production targets.
• Any other duties as required

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a food production or packing role (desirable but not essential – training provided).
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Able to work in a chilled environment (typically 2–5°C).
• Basic understanding of food hygiene and health & safety (training provided).
• Physically fit – able to stand for long periods and carry out repetitive tasks.

Shift pattern:

• Monday to Friday
• 07:00 - 15:30
