Job summary

Weareoa in Kettering is seeking a Production Operative for sorting and quality checking. You will clean areas, perform routine quality checks, report defects and complete documentation while supporting the manufacturing team in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires reliability, attention to detail and adherence to health and safety procedures, with manual handling duties and a focus on maintaining a safe workplace. Monday to Friday shifts on-site.

Job description

Production Operative – Sorting & Quality Checking.

Location: Kettering
Hours: 8am-4pm (can be 8am-6pm if wanted!), Monday to Friday. Candidates must arrive 15 minutes before each shift for handover.
Pay: £14.61 per hour

Duties of a Production Operative:

• Cleaning production areas, machinery and equipment to maintain high housekeeping standards.
• Carrying out routine quality checks throughout the manufacturing process.
• Identifying and reporting product defects or quality issues.
• Completing production and quality documentation accurately.
• Supporting production teams with general operational duties.
• Following health & safety procedures and standard operating procedures at all times.
• Assisting with manual handling and movement of materials.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Working towards daily production targets as part of a team.

What we would like from you:

• Previous experience within manufacturing, production, warehouse or FMCG is desirable.
• Experience in a quality-focused environment would be advantageous.
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow processes.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
