Job summary

Avara Foods is hiring a Packing Production Operative at our Brackley site in Northamptonshire. You will work in a fast-paced FMCG environment, packing chicken products and supporting line operations with emphasis on hygiene and efficiency.

We offer guaranteed hours, weekly pay, overtime, and training from day one. The Brackley site employs hundreds of staff and serves major supermarkets with fresh products.

Qualifications

• A good level of English and basic numeracy skills.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and a flexible attitude to tasks.
• Relevant experience is desirable, but not essential as full training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Trussing chickens ready for film wrapping.
• Bagging chickens.
• Grading quality of chickens.
• Removing dolavs for weighing and storage.
• Supplying the line with raw material.
• May require some heavy lifting (up to 12 kg).

Working Hours

Monday to Friday starting at 06:45 finishing at 18:00 (4 out of 5 days).

About The Role

As a Production operative you'll be working in a fast-paced, dynamic FMCG factory environment which is noisy and refrigerated in some areas, manufacturing short shelf-life products where hygiene standards are critical.
