Blue Arrow is proud to work in support of a leading manufacturing client in Belper (DE56). This company is a worldwide leader in the assembly of water heating systems.

We are recruiting for experienced production operatives with backgrounds in assembly and manufacturing to join this amazing team in on-going roles. Once you start on-site as a flexible worker, there are opportunities for upskilling, and training.

Due to the location and shifts, you MUST live locally or be able to drive and have access to your own vehicle.

This is a full time role therefore we unable to accept application if you are not eligible to work more than 38 hours per week.

What will you be doing?

  • Working to timed targets completion of tasks at your station while still ensuring quality
  • Report any issues with machinery or goods on the assembly line
  • Safe set up and use of machinery, working with hand tools
  • Always meeting health and safety requirements and committing to always working safely
  • Working on an assembly line, putting goods together in a factory environment.

Who We Are Looking For

  • Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and able to work efficiently
  • Able to listen carefully to instructions and carrying them out specifically and in the correct order
  • Someone who enjoys working systematically and productively
  • A strong eye for detail, ability to perform a task consistently, and notice any errors that the individual, the machine, or colleagues make.
  • Good communication skills and work well within a team
  • Able to ask for help and follow procedures safely
  • A positive person who can take initiative where appropriate
  • Reliable and dependable
  • The ability to maintain concentration and focus on highly repetitive tasks/workload
  • Able to consistently learn and implement quality assurance
  • Self-motivated and driven by targets (These may be by number of items assembled, or work completed per hour)
  • Previous assembly and production experience (essential)

Pay Rates

This client offers excellent pay rates which increase with length of service!

From £13.17 per hour on morning shift (up to £16.63)

Day shift: Monday to Thursday 06:00am - 2:30pm, Friday 06:00am - 12:00pm

From £15.01 per hour on afternoon shift (up to £18.47)

Afternoon shift: Monday to Thursday 2:30pm - 11:00pm, Friday 12:00pm - 6:00pm.

We are looking for candidates with full flexibility to cover 2 shift rotations
