Job summary

Cross Manufacturing in Midford, Bath, is seeking Production Operatives to join a busy manufacturing team on a temporary ongoing basis. The role covers multiple production areas, initially supporting the Winding department, with duties including manual work, operating machinery, quality checking, and producing components to exact specifications.

You will help maintain quality standards while working with measuring equipment, completing paperwork, and adhering to health and safety procedures.

Location: Midford, Bath

Pay Rate: £15.14 per hour

Type: Temporary ongoing

Hours: Monday to Thursday 07:30 - 16:30, Friday 07:30 - 12:30

Our client Cross Manufacturing, based in Midford, Bath, is looking to recruit additional Production Operatives to join their busy manufacturing team.

Cross Manufacturing is a world-leading manufacturer of precision components, supplying products into the aerospace, automotive and industrial sectors.

As a Production Operative, you will be working within different areas of production, initially supporting the Winding department. The role will involve a mixture of manual work, operating machinery, quality checking, and producing components to a high standard.

Duties will include:

• Operating machinery following training
• Producing components to required specifications
• Carrying out quality checks and inspections
• Using measuring equipment
• Completing production paperwork
• Following health & safety procedures
• Working as part of a team to achieve production targets

The role requires someone who is:

• Reliable and hardworking
• Comfortable working in a hands-on environment

• Previous experience within production, manufacturing, engineering, or a similar hands-on role would be beneficial, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.
