Job description

An immediate start opportunity is available at our client's busy fruit and vegetable production site.

Staffline is recruiting for a Production Operative position in Chatteris for those aged 16+.

The rate of pay is £12.21 per hour.

Overtime is available after working 48 hours and is paid at £15.26 per hour.

Shifts start at 08:00am with variable finish times.

Your Time at Work

As a Production Operative, you will:

- Play an important role in a fast-paced, team-focused environment
- Work with fresh produce to pack vegetables into nets and trays
- Be part of a close-knit team on the production line, assisting with assembly, packing, and sorting
- Check the quality of products to ensure they meet the highest standards
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace
- Report any issues to the team leader
- Contribute to producing top-quality products and having a positive impact on the team.

Our Perfect Worker

Our ideal Production Operative will be comfortable standing on a production line for the duration of their shift.

No previous experience as a Production/Factory Operative is required, as full training will be provided.
