Staffline is recruiting candidates to work as a Production Operative within an abattoir environment at our clients' beef processing site based in Shrewsbury.

This full-time role offers fixed day shifts working Monday - Friday.

Two shifts available:

  • Shifts start at 4:30am and finish when production is complete usually between 2/3pm
  • Shifts start at 6am and finish when production is complete usually between 3/4pm

The rate of pay is £ per hour with additional performance bonuses available (PIECE RATE).

Duties include packing tripe, weighing offal, etc., with trays weighing 20-25kg.

The responsibilities of a Production Operative include:

  • Following training guidelines to bone/trim meat using knives and other equipment.
  • Minimising waste
  • Carrying out daily checks and reporting issues as necessary
  • Attending meetings
  • Assisting with training where necessary
  • Working in line with food hygiene, and health and safety standards

No previous experience is necessary as full training will be provided.
