Job summary

Ganymede Solutions Ltd. is seeking a Production Operative for a 3-month contract in Ollerton, Nottingham. You will work on the cutting and palletising area, handling bags and operating wrapping processes. Shift pattern includes days and nights with a 3-on/3-off rhythm and potential extension.

You should have prior production experience, be physically fit, and able to work safely in a dusty environment. English communication and a strong team ethic are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Production Operative, Machine Operative or Manufacturing Operative.
• Experience in heavy manufacturing or industrial production is advantageous.
• Ability to work safely in dusty, dirty and physically demanding environments.
• Good spoken and written English communication skills.
• Strong work ethic and team player.

Responsibilities

• Take plastic wrapping bags from storage racks.
• Operate controls to release stacks onto the wrapping station.
• Manually place large plastic bags over products for wrapping.
• Ensure stacks are correctly positioned for automated wrapping.
• Maintain production targets of approximately 200 wraps per shift.
• Keep the working area clean, organized and safe.
• Follow all health and safety procedures.
