Wax & Core Department Operatives
Exeter | £15.17 per hour (starting) | Monday to Friday | Rotating 2-Shift Pattern | Temporary to Permanent | Immediate Start

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for Howmet Aerospace in Exeter, a global leader in aerospace manufacturing. We have full-time Operative roles available in both the Wax and Core Departments, working on a rotating shift pattern. Please note: all candidates must pass a medical assessment as part of the recruitment process.

Key Duties

• Wax Operative: Create and perfect wax moulds using tools, knives, and Bunsen burners. Carry out detailed, hands-on work (experience with sewing, crafting, model-making, or electronics is a bonus).
• Core Department Operative: Assist in the production of cores used in casting aerospace components. Operate machinery and follow precise production processes (mechanical or manufacturing background helpful but not essential).
• Wax Injection Operator: Operate wax injection equipment, change die patterns, and perform basic quality checks.

• Ability to work a rotating shift pattern.

Shift Details

• Morning Shift: 6am-2pm.
