Job summary

Nelsons is expanding its production team to manufacture Spatone products, operating under GMP, SOPs, and Health & Safety requirements. The role involves accurate documentation, routine cleaning and maintenance, and collaboration with the team to uphold quality and efficiency.

You will contribute to high standards of cleanliness and production accuracy, with training provided and a focus on safe operating procedures in a family-owned British company known for RESCUE Remedy and Teetha products.

Qualifications

• Ability to work accurately with a keen eye for detail.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment, ideally to GMP standards.
• Ability to recognise and work with good hygienic practices.

Responsibilities

• To work in the production of Spatone products under supervision, following SOPs and batch documentation.
• To work safely, adhering to GMP, H&S and quality requirements.
• To undertake training to safely operate in Production and keep records as required by SOPs.
• To accurately complete production documentation and logs in a timely manner and file records.
• To maintain the production area, utensils and equipment to the required standard of operation and cleanliness, including changeovers.
• To work with team members to improve production efficiency and quality.
• To comply with personal hygiene SOPs and undertake other reasonable tasks requested by management.

• Working Pattern 6am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm on a rotating weekly basis
• 12 Month Fixed Term Contract
• Salary - £13.62ph

The Role:

You’ll be working as part of a small team in the production of Spatone products. Working according to all necessary Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Hygiene and Health & Safety (H&S) requirements to ensure high quality products are produced in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and regulatory requirements.

You will be responsible for accurately completing all required documentation as specified in the relevant SOP's and undertake routine preventative checks and cleaning of production equipment, utensils and premises to ensure that the highest standards are maintained.

Key responsibilities:

• To work in the production of Spatone products under the supervision of the Team Leader, working in accordance to the relevant SOP and Batch Production documentation
• To work in a safe manner with full regard for the Company's GMP and H&S and Quality requirements following the relevant SOP
• To undertake all reasonable training requirements in order to safely and effectively work in the Production department
• To accurately complete all necessary production documentation and system-based forms, including logs, in a timely manner, and to maintain and file records as required by the relevant SOP
• To ensure that the production area, utensils, and equipment are maintained to the required standard of operation and cleanliness and to maintain a high standard of overall housekeeping To assist as necessary with production equipment line changeovers
• To work with the other team members and Team Leaders to ensure and improve production efficiency and maintenance of quality standards
• To comply with all relevant personal hygiene SOP requirements
• To undertake any other reasonable task requested by company management
