Job summary

The Best Connection is recruiting production operatives for a wood manufacturing client in Wisbech. No previous experience is required as full training provided at site, with a buddy system to help you excel. The role involves reading drawings and using hand tools to help construct wooden panels and frames.

You'll work Monday to Friday, 07:30am to 16:15pm (Friday 07:30am–15:15pm), with overtime available. Weekly pay and pension contributions are part of the benefits package.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required; full training provided at site.
• Must be reliable, enthusiastic and willing to learn.
• Able to read production drawings and follow plans.
• Physical role with some lifting.

Our client specialises in wood manufacturing, from floors to walls to roof trusses, and needs multiple operatives to join the team.

Although manufacturing experience is a bonus: It is

reliability, enthusiasm and willingness to learn which are the

most important things.

Full extensive training given at site, and a buddy system to ensure the right candidates excel, with potential for permanent placements for the best of the best.

The Job:

Monday to Friday - weekends available if wanted

07:30am - 16:15pm (Monday to Friday)

07:30am - 15:15pm (Friday)

Overtime is available too!

Pay per hour:

Production Operative Roles - What you will be/learn to do:

• Operating hand tools and machinery (when trained) to help construct wooden panels and frames
• Reading drawings and following production plans
• General factory duties as required (including some lifting!)
• Previous experience using hand and power tools would be ideal
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude is key
