About The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Production Operative to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their career and join a global business with a £2 billion+ turnover.

As a Production Operative, you will assist in managing the product (Fresh Produce) flow through the line, quality sort and dress out defects, ensuring product specifications are met. You will ensure products are correctly packed and labelled to target in line with company and customer expectations, and report any defects or poor quality to the Line Leader.

You will correctly pack finished goods safely, to specification standards, and in the correct orientation within each tray, then safely stack trays to the required height.

What are we looking for?

• Previous experience of working in a fast-paced environment is essential, specifically within a manufacturing/pack house/produce background is desirable.
• You should have good practical skills and the ability to work quickly and methodically within a team, with the ability to concentrate during repetitive tasks and follow instructions.
• With a ‘Can do’ attitude and proactive approach, you should have an understanding of health and safety policies in the workplace and entry-level proficiency in both written and spoken English.
