Job Title: Production Operative

Job Description:

We are seeking reliable and hardworking Production Operatives to join our manufacturing team. You will be involved in the production and canning of both solvent- and water-based paint coatings. This role includes some manual handling, and full training will be provided during the induction process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manufacturing a variety of paint products

  • Pumping paint into containers

  • Canning paint using the bailing technique

  • Operating scales and measuring equipment

  • Entering data into computer systems

  • Keeping the work area clean and organized

  • Communicating effectively with team members

  • Assisting with stock control and inventory management

  • Following all health and safety procedures

  • Wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided by the company

Personal Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Able to manage multiple tasks efficiently

  • Flexible and adaptable approach to work

  • Quick and accurate in responding to verbal and written instructions

  • Punctual and reliable

  • Preferably clean-shaven (to meet safety requirements)

  • Previous manufacturing experience is advantageous

  • Supervisory experience is a plus
