Working hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm, early finish at 4:00pm on Fridays

Pay: £22,920.00 per year

Job description
  • Work safely in accordance with company health and safety policies.
  • Carry out production activities as instructed by the Production Supervisor, involving mechanical work and soldering.
  • Produce goods following company procedures.
  • Build sub-assemblies according to company standards.
Requirements
  • Technical Ability: Proficiency in soldering, use of hand tools, and good dexterity.
  • Health & Safety: Understanding and adherence to health and safety requirements.
  • Quality & Effectiveness: Ability to produce parts meeting customer specifications and adhere to timelines.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to various tasks with a positive attitude.
  • Documentation Control: Ability to update documentation as necessary.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Please note: The role involves standing most of the day, moving, and lifting items of various weights. The successful candidate will start in the Calibration department, then move to the Production area for building and assembly.

Salary increases with experience. After probation, you may join the company ownership scheme, receiving free shares. Benefits include 33 days holiday (including bank holidays), with 3 days covering Christmas to New Year, and a 37.5-hour workweek with a 30-minute lunch break. The role is based in Waterlooville.
