Overview

Production Operative – Pollington, Goole DN14 0DU. 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts (3 on, 1 off, 3 on, 7 off). Salary banding £27,904 to £32,979.

Shift patterns include:

  • Shift 1: 40 hours per week, 6am – 2pm, Monday – Friday. Salary banding £27,318 - £32,284.
  • Shift 2: 36 hours per week, 6am – 6pm (example pattern – Thurs/Fri/Sat, Sunday off, Mon/Tues/Wed, 7 days off).

As a result of our continued success, we are recruiting for Production Operatives with a background in Manufacturing or Production to join our team at Pollington. You’ll be part of our manufacturing team, helping to make our well-known concrete drainage products, including large pipes and manholes. Working together with your team, you’ll learn how to use a variety of hand tools, machinery, and lifting equipment. Safety, quality, and efficiency will be at the heart of everything you do to keep both you and the business successful. Responsibilities
  • Work as part of the manufacturing team to produce concrete drainage products (including large pipes and manholes).
  • Learn to use a variety of hand tools, machinery, and lifting equipment.
  • Prioritise safety, quality, and efficiency in daily tasks.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Previous experience or understanding of working within a Manufacturing Production Plant.
  • Concrete manufacturing experience desirable.
  • FLT licence desirable.
  • Team player with attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools advantageous.
  • English communication and writing skills.
