Job description

Location: Ash, the outskirts of Sandwich (must drive due to client's location)

Contract: Temporary contract for 3-6 months

Salary: £12.25 per hour

Hours: 39 per week (Monday - Thursday 08:00-17:00; Friday 08:00-13:00)

Duties:

1. Mixing chemical compounds in preparation for production.
2. Once the chemical is mixed and made into powder, put the powder into tubes, seal and pack.
3. Complete product quality testing.
4. Ensuring chemicals are stored safely and in compliance with HSE standards.
5. Complete all work in a safe manner, complying with Health, Safety and Environmental procedures and standards.
6. Ensure build and quality standards are maintained.
7. Maintain appropriate production and safety records.
8. Maintain a clean and tidy work environment.

Experience and skills required for this position:

1. Previous experience in production, assembly, warehouse or manufacturing is desirable but full training will be provided.
2. Must be comfortable lifting up to 25kg.
3. Must be comfortable working with percentages.
4. DBS check will be carried out.
