Job summary

Morrisons Woodhead in Spalding is seeking a Production Operative to join the beef abattoir team. Duties include knife work, packing, and general production tasks, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Shifts run 5:45am–3:00pm or 5:00pm–finish, Monday to Friday, at £13.00 per hour. This temporary role lasts about four weeks with guaranteed weekly shifts and free transport from Peterborough and Boston.

IMMEDIATE START ABATTOIR / SLAUGHTERHOUSE WORK SPALDING

We are currently recruiting temporary candidates to join our team working at Morrisons Woodhead in Spalding.

Details

• Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour
• Shifts: 5:45am - 3:00pm OR 5:00pm - finish
• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Location: Spalding
• Duration: Approximately 4 weeks
• Guaranteed weekly shifts
• FREE TRANSPORT available from Peterborough AND Boston

The Role

Working within the beef abattoir, duties will include:

• Knife work and trimming meat
• Picking and packing
• End-of-line packing
• Handling and moving 10-15kg joints of meat
• Placing products onto trays
• General production and abattoir duties

This is a physically demanding role, involving standing for long periods, repetitive tasks and handling heavy products.

Induction
