A family-owned manufacturing company in Slaithwaite is seeking a skilled Production Operative. You will assist in various departments, focusing on quality standards and continuous improvement. Attention to detail and experience with power tools are preferred. The role offers a permanent position with weekday hours, and overtime potential, while uniform and safety boot allowances are provided.

Monday to Thursday 7 : 30am - 4 : 15pm and 6 : 45am - 12 : 45pm on a Friday. Uniform will be provided and an allowance for safety boots.

As a Production Operative your key activities will be assisting all departments with any activities as an when required. You will not be assigned to one specific department but will float between departments as the business necessitates.
A level of attention to detail and manufacturing knowledge will be required within this role to achieve the full requirements of the role.
This will include assembly operations, material control & movement, cutting, drilling, tapping and process verification throughout.
You will be required to contribute to our continuous improvement of the production system. You will also actively collaborate across production and assembly to ensure the delivery of the highest quality modules to time. In addition to these requirements, you may be asked to perform other duties by your line manager to support the development of the business objectives.
