Production Operative – Inspection & Processing

Sittingbourne

£12.36 per hour, rising to £14.25 per hour after successful completion of training

Monday–Friday (EARLY FINISH FRIDAY!)

Permanent

We’re working with a leading manufacturer who is seeking a Production Operative to join their skilled team. This role involves working with specialist processes to prepare and inspect components to a high standard. Full training will be provided.

Duties will include:

  • Preparing parts using a chemical treatment process (training provided)
  • Conducting detailed inspections using dye penetrant methods
  • Following strict timing, temperature, and safety procedures
  • Recording inspections and communicating with other departments
  • Ensuring products meet quality standards before moving to the next stage
  • Carrying out general production and support duties as required

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience in a production, inspection, or quality control role is beneficial
  • Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach
  • Willingness to undergo extensive training (including a certification course)
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Comfortable working under pressure and to deadlines
  • Reliable transport due to the site location and start time
