Salary: GBP12.85 - GBP16.06 per hour

Stafforce are looking forProduction Workers, offering immediate starts for our client in Scunthorpe, Billet Lane,DN15.

Our client is Sofina Foods, one of the UK's leading pork processors, an employer of choice with ongoing staff requirements and competitive rates of pay, including overtime.

We can offer various shifts but currently we are recruiting for evening shift withimmediate startsandpaid training.

FULL TIME:

• A: Monday to Wednesday 6am - 6pm £12.85p/h
• B: Thursday to Saturday 6am-6pm £12.85p/h plus Saturday uplift £3.02p/h
• We can offer ad hoc (flexible) working. However you must be able to work minimum 2 days between Monday to Saturday on 12 hour shifts.

No previous experience required as paid training is provided.

Job Purpose

• To safely and efficiently carry out production tasks within a bacon manufacturing facility, ensuring sliced bacon products are produced, packed and labelled to the highest standards of quality, food safety and customer requirements.

The Role

• Handling of raw sliced bacon, respecting specifications for each customer
• The servicing of and the feeding on to the line.
• Loading raw bacon into trays
• Packing of finished product
• General hygiene duties (clean as you go).
• Stacking and palletizing boxes and servicing the line with ingredients and packaging, in line with relevant SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures) and product specifications.
• Working within Good Manufacturing Practices - i.e.; safely, hygienically and through correct quality procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Reliable, punctual and flexible.
• Understanding of hygiene and food safety practices.
