Job Title: Production Operator - Packaging (Level I) - Backshift

Location: Livingston, Scotland

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday: 2:30 pm - 11:15 pm; Friday: 1:30 pm - 6:00 pm

Start Date: Immediate

Role Overview

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Production Operator - Packaging (Level I) at a well-established medical device company based in Livingston, Scotland. This company specializes in the manufacturing of medical devices, supplying products to a wide range of healthcare markets. The position is initially offered through an agency, with the potential for permanent employment.

In this role, you will be reporting to the Packing Supervisor and supporting the smooth execution of production operations. Your responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Good Distribution Practices (GDP) to maintain an efficient and well-regulated production environment. You will collaborate closely with other departments, including Quality Assurance, and ensure that all safety regulations are followed.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute packing procedures following SOPs.
• Complete batch record documentation accurately in line with GDP and GMP standards.
• Report any equipment issues or downtime to the supervisor promptly.
• Communicate any quality-related issues or non-conformities to the supervisor or Quality Assurance department.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and resources are readily available.
