We are seeking a dedicated Production Operative to join a busy manufacturing team based in Eastfield, Scarborough. As a Production Operative, you will be involved in producing high-quality products using a range of materials and tools, supporting the wider team to meet production targets.

Production Operative responsibilities:
  1. Manufacture products using wood, metal, and uPVC materials
  2. Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
  3. Follow technical drawings and instructions to assemble products
  4. Carry out quality checks to ensure work meets required standards
  5. Keep the work area clean and organized to support safe working
The right candidate for this Production Operative role will have:
  1. Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  2. Confidence in using hand and power tools
  3. A good understanding of health and safety in the workplace
  4. A positive attitude and willingness to learn
  5. The ability to read and follow drawings (desirable)

This temp-to-perm opportunity offers a day shift working Monday to Thursday 7:00am–3:30pm and Friday 7:00am–1:00pm, with a starting hourly rate of £[amount] per hour.
