Industrial Temporaries are looking for Production Operatives for a well-established and successful company known worldwide in their field.

About the Role

Successful candidates will undertake duties within the site recycling operation, including but not limited to quality control, picking activities, bale trimming, and general cleaning. The role involves operating fixed plant machinery and assisting with minor maintenance tasks that do not require support from a certified maintenance engineer.

Daily Duties

1. Maintain a clean and safe working environment through regular cleaning and housekeeping.
2. Perform recycling activities such as quality control, picking operations, bale trimming, and cleaning, following safe operating procedures.
3. Operate machinery such as the picking booth and production picking line, and trim bale wire.
4. Move waste materials around the factory floor and site.
5. Perform basic maintenance tasks under the guidance of a competent person, including preventative maintenance like greasing machine bearings.
6. Conduct inspections and complete necessary forms such as daily checks and defect reports.
7. Operate production processing equipment and record data as required.
8. Monitor equipment for blockages and defects, report issues, and take appropriate action to resolve or escalate problems.
9. Assess and monitor the quality of materials during handling.

Working Hours
