Job description

Are you looking for an excellent production role that will offer long term contracts for the right candidate?

My client, a major snack food provider, is looking to recruit a number of production workers to join their team. As a production worker, you will be expected to carry out duties such as working on production lines, feeding machines, packing on lines, conducting quality control, and boxing and preparing the finished product ready for dispatch to their customers.

There will be some physical aspects to this role; candidates may have to lift products up to 20kg.

Candidates will ideally have previous production experience in a food manufacturing site and will have a good level of communication skills. Hours of work will be Monday to Friday 06:00 - 14:00 or 14:00 - 22:00 or Monday to Thursday 22:00 to 06:00 or Monday to Friday 12:00 - 20:00.

Overtime will be available depending on business needs. Candidates are advised that they must be able to get to Westhoughton for 06:00 and home after 22:00 as there are restrictions with public transport for the shift start times and finish.

Candidates should have experience working within a food manufacturing environment. Risk assessment and induction will be carried out by the client on the first day of assignment.

Candidates must have safety boots and hi-visibility clothing.

£11.75 Per Hour - Day Shift
£12.75 Per Hour - Night Shift - Weekly Pay
