Job summary

Responsibilities

• Ensure the lines are kept running to meet customers' orders.
• Set machines to the correct sizing.
• Load machines with raw materials.
• Mind the machine and change over components.
• Complete basic machine maintenance.
• Ensure material needed for the process is stocked.

The shifts on offer are 3 shifts - 6am - 2pm/2pm - 10pm/10pm - 6am but the ability to cover 4 on 4 off is essential.

Your main role will be to ensure the lines are kept running to meet customers orders.

You will be:

• the ability to use tolls such as spanners, screwdrivers and alan keys for change overs
• ensuring the machines are set to the correct sizing
• loading the machines with raw materials
• quality checking at several points in the process
• machine minding
• changing over of components
• completing basic machine maintenance
• ensuring material needed for process are stocked so production is not interrupted

You will need:

• previous experience of working on a fast paced line
• the ability to stand for the 8 hour shift
• a good eye for detail as visual quality is a big part of this role
