Pioneer Selection Ltd in Penrith, Cumbria, is seeking a Process / Production Operative to join a leading heavy industrial manufacturer. You will work in a team of four, ensuring health & safety, quality standards, and on-time production, with some warehouse duties and a 4-on/4-off, 12-hour shift pattern.

The role requires a strong work ethic, flexibility, and a proactive attitude to maintain smooth operations and contribute to site performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Process Operative experience.
• Physically fit with the ability to perform manual handling and manual labour tasks.
• Good attitude and team player.
• Willing to complete various duties and tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain health & safety standards and quality control.
• Ensure factory runs at full capacity and production plan stays on time.
• Carry out warehouse duties as required.
• Support continuous improvement and shift handovers.

PROCESS / PRODUCTION OPERATIVE

Job Title: Process / Production Operative

Location: Penrith, Cumbria

Salary: Basic £37,000 plus Benefits

Shift: 4on 4off (2 Days, 2 Nights, 4off), 12 Hour Shifts.

Job Role of the Process / Production Operative

You will be responsible for ensuring high levels of Health & Safety, maintaining company quality standards, ensuring the factory runs to full capacity, ensure the production plan is on time as well as some warehouse duties.

Desirable Requirements

• Worked on continuous improvement projects.
• Worked within a heavy industrial environment.
• Hold a ForkLift Truck Licence.
• Weighbridge or Planning Experience.
