Job summary

Connect Appointments in Paisley is recruiting Production Operatives to join a busy food production and manufacturing site on a temporary-to-permanent basis. You will operate and clean machinery, monitor lines, weigh ingredients, and perform quality checks.

Training is provided and you will be supported to develop in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates are reliable, punctual, and capable of working in a team while maintaining high hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate and clean assembly and production machinery.
• Monitor production and assembly lines throughout the shift.
• Accurately weigh and measure ingredients according to batch instructions.
• Conducting basic testing and quality checks on products.
• Storing goods and raw materials safely and accurately.
• Reporting faulty machinery or production issues to supervisors promptly.
• Pack, label, and prepare products for shipping and distribution.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the production area.

Working as a Production Operative, your duties will include:

• Operating and cleaning assembly and production machinery

To be successful in this Production Operative job, you will ideally have previous experience in a production/manufacturing environment – with previous food manufacturing experience a distinct advantageous. – but not essential as full training is provided.
