Job summary

National Express LTD is seeking a Production Operative in Northampton to join their team. In this permanent role, you'll support the Warehouse and Manufacturing teams, ensuring compliance to health and safety standards while executing tasks in a physical work environment. Ideal candidates will have experience in food manufacturing and be familiar with relevant health and safety standards. Working hours include rotating shifts of 4 on/4 off and a competitive salary starting at £32,000.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-moving food manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001/BRC, Health & Safety, Hygiene, HACCP, COSHH.
• Ability to perform physical/manual work lifting weights up to 25kg.

We are keen to speak with experienced Production operatives with Warehouse and FLT Driving experience

This can be physical/manual work, lifting weights up to 25kg

Our ideal candidates will have worked in a fast moving Food manufacturing environment, and be familiar with ISO 9001/BRC, Health & Safety, Hygiene, HACCP, COSHH and pest control

The main purpose of your role is to support the Warehouse and Manufacturing teams and to perform all tasks within the Production Operative's role

In Your New Role As An Operative

To perform all tasks within the production operative's role, after full training, to 100% compliance at all times

• Perform all aspects of the production operative functions in a diligent manner, whilst ensuring health and safety standards are not compromised
• To maintain solid operating basis in terms of good manufacturing practices
• Ensure full compliance of all sites-based systems, such as ISO 9002, HACCP, Health & Safety site standards and policies, environment standards and Investors in People
• To help support and identify operational synergies that would enhance continuous improvement within the Operational team.
• To ensure that any product wastage is kept to a minimum, whilst also mitigating the need for product remixes being undertaken
• Any other reasonable management request
