Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain/manage data input on the system.
• Utilize production fixtures to manufacture products.
• Use inspection fixtures to ensure product quality.
• Report production issues to line manager.
• Refer to Quality procedures.
• Read and interpret drawings to enable manufacture.
• Maintain strategic consumable products within the working area.
• Attend regular meetings to discuss issues around quality.
• Report any issues which affect production.
• Receive workload allocated from line manager and put this into practice.

Base pay range

Hours of work: 39 hours per week on shifts (6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm) alternating weekly

Our client an operative to work in the machining area, operating a fibre laser and CNC (Matsuura, Doosan and Haas) machines.

Role Information

• Maintain/manage data and input accordingly onto the system


• Utilise production fixtures in order to manufacture products


• Use inspection fixtures and gauges to meet product quality standards


• Display competency in visual inspection methods


• Refer to Quality procedures


• Read and interpret drawings to enable manufacture


• Maintain strategic consumable products within the working area


• Attend regular meetings to discuss issues around quality


• Report any issues which effect production


• Receive workload allocated from line manager and put this into practice

Qualifications/Experience Required

• Able to refer to Quality procedures when necessary


• Experience of machining and fabrication


• Able to read drawings


• Familiar with NCR processes
